By this date there were amalgamated with other Dalmatians and Croats troops, sometimes referred as Cimariotti or Cappeletti or simply Croats. They would look like any Balkan figures of that time. Donnington has a some figures if you dig trough Polish, Ottomans and Austrian ranges of the Warfare in t...

Good points! I was thinking of making a request like this. I especially found the Italian communal pavesari not well represented. This was a static defensive formation used specifically to counter knights and missile fire. It would be interesting to test a formation with 1/3 def. sp. and 2/3 cb. to ...

I think this is more elegant and simple solution. Invader choose terrain from defender choices, I would go further in eliminating the adjustment rolls. You place a terrain feature, it stays there. Simone
And everyone would take MF armies with 4 TC.
And now everyone is taking Cv and Lh...

FWIW on the whole terrain issue I'd generally go back to a more DBM-like principle and say the terrain type must come from the loser of the PBIs territory types. Maybe with some tweaks. I think this is more elegant and simple solution. Invader choose terrain from defender choices, I would go furthe...

I am surprise by the difference between Mirliton and Venexia since Venexia built their Italian Wars line on the basis of matching Mirliton. Corvus Belli HYW line I have, and they are bulkier than mirliton. You really don't need to match any of these lines since they can fill all you need by themselv...

I did not read it correctly. You were talking about allies. My personal opinion in regards to allies is different than a simple extrapolation of the main list. In this Feudal period, it should include only the best troops. For example it is now a new common finding that most of the attacking forces ...

I am working on a straight up Irish Army, and it seems that it can be competitive. I would bass all my strategy on using LF Kerns and LH to slow down enemy movements and get my GG to where I need them, 32 stands of superior armoured Hvy Weapon are as good as any other strike force in FoG. Unfortuna...
