Did this happen before 1500 ?

Nope, 1630 at the earliest East Coast time, suggest it is moved to the FoG Renaissance list. :D

Major sports news over here is some 37 yr old basketball player being traded and he earns $ 21 million a year.

Nice work if you can get it.

To be honest, theres usually not that much difficulty in getting a ticket, but if you are over, I can certainly make sure (they might be playing someone good) !

If you ring Fulham for and ask what time does the game start, they ask what time can you get there.

I'm not a football great fan, in particular since Lippi is trainer of Italy, but I'm happy for win of USA. Spain is a team I like, but I like even more to see some results out of normal.

Marcelo Lippi is one of the greats of football, almost a god in England. What's not to like?

We have a great team, but we ever underestimate all our rivals, this is the spanish football team story.

I prefer the mentality of our basketball team, young people with mountains of talent and a lot of work.

I don't want to discute about Lippi's skill as trainer. This really doesn't matter. I just want to tell you what police found about Lippi's son and Moggi. Perhaps you have heard about Juventus executive Moggi who bribed referees. This led to a heavy disqualification to Juventus team and Moggi is still on trial (in Italy we need a lot of years for definitive sentences, but he was found guilty in the first degree of trial). What you likely do not know is as side story of the fraud arranged by Moggi, we knew Lippi's son was partner of Moggi's son in a society of football players agents. This while Lippi was trainer of Italian national team. Must I explain the power can have an agency for football player where one of the partner is the son of the trainer of the national team? Do you want to have a chance to play in Italian national team? Choose me as agent and I will talk about with my father...

Believe me, Lippi is the minor of the problems we have in Italy. He is hateful, but it's only about football. What would you think if I said you in Italy Stock Exchange many people are AD of different societies and often of competing societies? There are people who are AD of up to 7 different societies. Can you believe this people have not conflict of interest? But this is very common in Italy. Some people have more than a charge in our society, and they get more salaries. For example, president of a Region (a public charge) can be also President of some private Foundation, and so on. Sadly, my country is rotten to the core.

Mario

Once upon a time I would have laughed at how corrupt Italy was but Britian is no better these days it seems...
