Cut the brass rod to the lenght you want. 2. take a hammer and flatten the end 3. cut the flattened end into a spear shape with cutters or just file it down 4. finish with a grinder I use a small hammer to do the bashing and a heavier one as an anvil, then a dremmel to do the shaping.
