Whilst on the subject of Orb Formation, I've got two questions.

1) I assuming any spear/pike armed HF BGs can form Orb?

2) Can multiple BGs in orb still form a Battleline?

I now understand that the amount of dice in impact phase would differ from the number of dice the mellee phase.

I have a BG in this formation,

ABBB
AABB

A= in diffucult terrain & are disordered
B= in open terrain & are unaffected

As a relative newcomer to the game, I need to clarify shooting dice for LF armed with Bow. If I have 6 bases of LF organised into a BG of 3 in front rank, then 3 in second rank. If your painting your own miniatures you'll have a 15mm army complete & painted long before a 28mm army.

Does anyone know a manufacturer that would produce suitable miniatures for HYW period French/Gascon Brigans?
Should be based as MF lightly armoured swordsmen.

Another newbie queston.

I've recently tried to rebase most of my armies to FoG spec.
I have however based based all my HF units on 40x20mm bases & not 40x15mm.

Would this be OK I started to play tournaments??
