Godendag 2010 - Theme Poll

Post by rbodleyscott »

Now is your chance to influence the choice of theme for Godendag 2010.

Godendag 2010 is a 900 points Doubles tournament which will be held in Usk in South Wales, UK on 23/24th January 2010.

(It seems a poll cannot have more than 10 choices, hence I have combined Rise of Rome / Legions Triumphant).

Post by princeyriel »

2 of us would like to bid as we live together but play in different teams.

Lynnette votes for Storm of Arrows
Wayne votes for Storm of Arrows or a Rise of Rome
Simon Green who cant remember his forum password! would like to vote for Wolves from the Sea
Colin Marsden also from the burton club and sitting next to me as I type (simon and colin are both here for cards night, just in case you think we are trying to get our way!) would like Swifter than Eagles.

Since Empire of the Dragon has 30 votes the rest may be meaningless. Perhaps Eternal Empire should be there?

Richard, is your plan to host 2 periods? From my POV I don't have any Eastern armies - so that would exlcude me. Which would be a pity as I've been coming to USK since what... 1993?

I can't claim the same pedigree but I don't have any Eastern armies either.

If it is Empires of the Dragon I should be able to assist with a couple of extra armies.
Of course I will get first choice!!

Very interested in participating in this comp. but again all of my army collections are european.

Matt,

Without seeing what is in the new lists I used to be able to do Spring and Autumn Chinese, Chin, Han Chinese, Yuan and Ming Chinese, Mongol, Khmer or Champa, Burmese. I may need to do some rebasing but I do have figures on 15mm and 20mm bases for some of the earlier Chinese.

I hope that is a biggest enough selection!!!

After speaking with Richard at Britcon. It looks like there will be 2 periods. Enter the Dragon , and a more generic theme - covering more books

But I'll let him confirm
