Gascon Brigan figure

Hello all,

I am looking for some simple sword and buckler figures to represent these. Can anyone tell me what 15mm figure these would be?

I am looking for a roughly medievel figure with a sword and shield.

Thank you in advance,

Pine Sol

I just use Pine sol - pour into a bowl and soak the miniatures.

The old paint comes off pretty easily. I use a toothbrush to finish the job.

Hello all, If you have the beta rules you are in the beta. I beleive that the emails that were sent out, and possibly a post in here, stated that it would take a few days for Area 51 to be available for beta members. I also beleive that due to the NDA we are not supposed to discuss things unless it ...

Essex

I have found some Essex mounted Vikings that work.

Poses in heavy armour and dressed in light with shields in the air. They also have a great mounted leader with captives I am using for my commander.

You can also place your glasses into the freezer, wait a while and the glue section might pop off with little force.

I have had to rebase a few figs for differant games and this seems to work in getting the glue to release or at least to be brittle enough to weaken.

Would you like to see army lists prior to arriving for the Friday tourny?

This may make it easier to spilt folks up and give you an idea how many folks are competing.

Beta testing for FOG - NAP

Hello all,

I have played Age of Eagles and Shako II as my rulesets. There are 5 folks in our gaming group and each of us would be willing to learn the ruleset and put it through it's paces.

We have played 1000 point games on a 4 x 6 table and still finish in 3 hours. It is a great way to use most of your painted figs and possibly an ally that you normally wouldn't use.

It was a lot of fun and that amount of figs lined up looks great.

I won one of our local tournys with LRR and took one group of elephants, and one BG of Ligurian foot from the optional troops list. Everything else was taken from the core troops. If you want I can post the army list here. If you keep the elephants covered on either side with the legions, they do ve...

My two cents

Hello all, I play Romans and I have gotten used to this. Most people you face understand that the Legion is the meat of the army and will attempt to stall as long as possible before they commit. I basically keep everything in tight, (I kept losing all my cav and lights), point the Ele and Legion blo...

An interesting question

Hello all, IN last nights games this situation happened and we are wondering if it was played correctly. A battlegroup of Elephants was in pursuit of a group of knights that had broken. To the left of this pursuit a group of bowmen broke and fled at an angle that put them in front of the elephants. ...

Longbowman colors

I painted all of mine differantly.

While I am sure that some lords had a group of archers on the payroll I went for the majority being your average guy with a bow.

Is there an issue in Tournament play if the camp is larger than the written size.

Fragmented battlegroups and movement

Hello all,

This question came up in a game last night.

You have a BG of 6 fragmented cav facing bow. The cav owner wanted to get this group out of harms way, what are your options?

We looked in the book and couldn't find what you are able to do.
