Don't worry, sonny 8)

I'll have the same army, but the list will be a heck of a lot different

For ending each round; I gues there are 2 ways I can think of:

1) At the set time, everyone stops right where they are.

2) A few minutes(15?) before the ending time; announce "last bound" and everyone finishes out.

I guess as long as everyone has the same time it doesn't matter too much. A firm stop discourages slow play.

My $.02

I really don't like the idea of "STOP" where you are... Finish the bound or phase and then it ends. Stop where you are, invites a player to go slow because he knows around when the game will end.

Well, any stop method can be "played" by someone trying to dodge that last friction point.
We know the length of the round and when it started, so the end time can be pretty well established. Most people don't play that way, but it seems like there's always some one who thinks that his life revovles around maximizing/minimizing the score :x

I just confirmed i was covered at the bar for the tourney.. I have 3 spots on the couch(2 on the sectional and 1 on the other couch) and i also have a spare room available.. I live about 40min from the tourney. If you want to come in Friday and do some adult beverages and a warm up game... Or a board game... or after the tourney get some rest before heading home.. My roomies are cool with it.(I live in a good sized house) Though i will admit i will clean abit.. But it is a bachelor pad. Anyone interested shoot me an email.. Dewgan1972@msn.com and put on the heading FOG Columbus. I get home from work on Friday between 4-6.

As much as this pains me to say, I can't make it up this weekend.

Brownie points at all time low since I just went to Bham and with the IWF upcoming, I've got precious little time to re-stock my levels...

Sorry.

Madcam.

Well, see as a "moderator" of the forums and therefore an expert at the game by definition

Whew. I was worried that it was . . . nevermind.

As for that, of course you will all be eating my dust the entire day. :D And if I end up tanking then it wasn't my fault, the dice were bad, the sun was in my eyes, the stars were not aligned, and so on. See, I'm ready for anything.

See you there,

Marc

I just wanted to thank Steve and all the prize donators for a very fun event :D

Got to meet some good guys and had three good games. I hope we can make it an annual thing.
