Yes. Please add the General Traits selection window to all stand-alone scenarios; this seems like an oversight and an easy fix. All players would really like this to happen.

Ah, it takes a couple of turns to reload torpedoes, so if it's target hasn't moved, it probably won't either...so undetectable.

I didn't choose the Jumbo upgrade because it had a dash where the movement number was supposed to be. Just looked in the units file and there are no movement points, line-of-sight, cost or supply numbers for the Jumbo. Bug, me thinks.

I used the 2 reinforcement units you get early to land on and take Rendova. I had chosen 2 destroyers for bombardment help and used those to supply the 2 units on Rendova until the taken cities on Rendova did that job. The manual says the Catalina flying boat can be repaired by a cruiser. Haven't tried it yet.

The manual says we only get to keep one of the specializations. The one we don't choose is not offered later. After I read that, I restarted the scenario (at turn 4) to choose the Higgins boats.

I found the Strategic Map also by reading the manual (after the Manilla scenario). Really helps to pick out aircraft locations especially.
One thing needs to be added (which was in PG): left clicking on the Strategic Map takes you to that location on the battle map.

I guess I'm a little over half way thru the tech tree and really love the game. I've gotten a little nervous from reading posts about nuclear bombs wiping out cities and stacks of troops. Is there a defense against them? Seem to remember Civ games with bunkers and some sort of sky defense network. I...

It could be that we have more cities than the AI, so our population is more spread out between them. That's the case in the first game I'm playing, even though I'm doing cloning.
