Are you working on this to make it work in a mod? Even if lacking rider, it’s still a vast improvement from current camels.

No, I don't. It is not my 'subject' - I don't know this fantasy universe.kronenblatt wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 12:51 pmAre you working on this to make it work in a mod? Even if lacking rider, it’s still a vast improvement from current camels.
I've just started learning a computer program RME Editor which is used to create TWR2, TWA, TWW mods. I wrote to Jack about it earlier.

I see. And the warg is all static like a statue? No animations, for e.g. movement or attack?Cronos09 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 2:27 pmNo, I don't. It may be cool if Wargs were prone to anarchy charges. Making them a bit unpredictable. I've made an update for my own sub-mod in which Wargs can anarchy charge and no general can be moved to command them (because they're not acting as mounts).

Claude AI now has a plugin for Blender, which allows you to create stuff with the AI through chat. I'm going to see what I can whip up with it; spent most of the first session just getting the software and addons set up and workin, and then doing a basic wolf model.
I'll keep you posted how it progresses.

Cool! Please make them warg riders, i.e., a goblin or orc mounting a large wolf, not just a warg.

Yeah, I'm thinking I may have it redrawn using rectangles as a base. It's a rather laberous process though, so I may wait to see how it turns out first.

Re: Middle Earth Mod (Updated to 1.3 August 2024)
I've redone the warg using rectangles, so it looks less like a plushy toy. This is a very slow process and only able to do so much work in one session at the free tier.

Re: Middle Earth Mod (Updated to 1.3 August 2024)
Here's another shot of the work in progress. With the free tier, I get about 20-30 minutes of AI-assisted modeling. You have to be very precise in directions, and even then, you often have to give follow-up directions to tweak the exact distances to shift elements you're working with to fit together correctly.
I've been focusing on the goblin's upper body and need to add legs. I am going to make the warg a bit narrower, it's too stocky atm.

Here's another look at the work in progress. It's a very slow process, directing the AI, and it often has to redo things several times to get it right. I've narrowed down the wolf and working on the goblin legs atm.

Had time for a couple of sessions of work; focused on refining the goblin rider.

You can’t combine existing riders from the base game with your “warg”?

That would require exporting and converting to Blender which I don't have any experience with at this point, so I've opted to start from scratch in Blender with AI assistance, and work step by step from there.kronenblatt wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 10:26 am You can’t combine existing riders from the base game with your “warg”?

Fwiw it is possible to import models from other games, like rtw (see 18th century mod for fog2m), (I received permission from fatw to use theirs long as i give credit), but I personally have no idea how to do it.
