And the basing of the minis is a bit strange, the HI is based 18mm deep in 6 cases, 15 in the others... It is still a beautiful painted army. But ...

But from your answers I see already, that the wider frontage of the 6 base spear unit is a much bigger advantage than...

Do you have to see an enemy to charge it at all? And what circumstances block a line of sight?
