Re: Deployment matters
I agree. Every map should have a deployment zone for both sides.

I just noticed that the minimap rotates to stay oriented with the terrain. That is great!

He can? No haven't noticed. Would be weird tho. Priester is a healer not repair. This game is supposed to be realistic. Grenadier79, in defense of the Devs, they have made an excellent game and they have done many changes improve the game based on feedback from the players, quickly too. They can on...

All of the above AND the ability to save army lists so a player can select a particular saved list with a click and presto, it's loaded up and placed into a deployment zone.

Re: Tank Shock and Zone of Control
Thanks for the feedback and ideas guys. We will take a look at this and see what we can do. Cheers, Gordon. This is excellent news. Tank Shock against infantry would be a fantastic addition to the game mechanics. But with that said, do not forget about RAMMING enemy vehicles! http://vignette2.wikia...

Sounds good. Thanks for a quick response even though the problem self-resolved. GOT to go kill orks now!IainMcNeil wrote:With steam if you ever get an issue, exit steam completely, validate your local files and try again. Usually its an issue caused by grabbing the update.

Re: Sanctus Reach Patch v1.0.10 Available!
For some reason the Steam update is causing my computer to lock up when I try to play the game. I have to hard reboot to get out of it. I am going to re-install the game to see if that fixes the problem. Edit: That did not work either, hitting the play game button on Steam or hitting the desktop ico...

Re: Some gender balance in the future would be nice!
I would like to see where it says that in lore? Just seems sort of goofy to me, I am not asking for anything that isnt part of the 40K game we all know and love... I just want those that are a regular part of the warhammer universe that have some gender balance to be included. Never seen a female s...

Re: BUG *Area of Effect Dammage*
That random damage is frustrating. It does seen like there should be some minimum results. But below minimum results still occur as a rare event. I feel that the player should be able to target open tiles as well, perhaps at a half effectiveness penalty agains unspotted enemy troops within the blast...

Re: Some gender balance in the future would be nice!
Technically speaking, women serve in the Imperial Guard and probably in the Tempestus Scions, not to mention the female Inquistors. They would just have to be included. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/ee/61/16/ee6116ef4a8e6c160a063b624a14ae1b.jpg http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/warhamm...

Re: Poll: What DLC do you want first?
I really hope the Tempestus Scions can be part of an IG DLC. This would be a great campaign! The Red WAAAGH! (998.M41) - The Ork Warlord Grukk Face-rippa rampages across the Sanctus Reach system and is met in battle at Alaric Prime. Amongst the defenders under the command of Castellan Stein of Cadia...

Re: Sanctus Reach Beta Update v1.0.2
And blood claws are pretty much Jr. Space Marines, that are not Assault Marines, I do not think this game really has Jump packs in the traditional sense (I mean you can move around the screen fast, but no jump and come down and smash face) Claws are very fragile till you level them a bit. (I know t...

Re: Deployment for those who do not know
Yeah... my assumption is that the maps are generated every time you enter a skirmish in case you run into a map that's just awful. Pool changes as well... probably by design. Sure, you can kinda game the system, but it prevents an obstructed or impossible map scenario, etc.. And you should not have...

Excellent! The Emperor provides!
EDIT: Got a chance to play a skirmish game with the new update. Really like the more fluid gameplay. The voiceovers with the action blends very well.

Jump Pack Infantry dont Jump
Shouldn't jump pack infantry be able to jump over terrain and enemy forces? Right now the Skyclaw Space Marines and Stormboyz Orks can only skim along the surface and they cannot jump over enemy units or high terrain. Seems like they should have a jump capability, even the "Hammer of Wrath"...

Re: Broken Units
Broken units allow morale to be a facet of gameplay. How it effects units is part of a balance effect of the whole. Just because a unit is broken I dont think should invite its destruction automatically. But using it as a tool to prevent the unit from being used offensively allows the unit to be a ...

Broken Units
One thing I have noticed about Broken units is that while they cannot shoot and move towards the enemy during their turn, they do get reaction fire and to melee normally. Does this feel right? It seems to me that a unit that is broken should be slaughtered quickly if hit by a melee attack and defini...

Re: Gorkanaut Grotesquely Overpowered!!!
Hah, I just faced the Gorkanaut in a skirmish for the first time. It was a bit frustrating because of the random forces (all infantry) I was given to face it, none of them were good at AT, except for two meltagun packs. They did not even get close to even take a shot. Hopefully the skirmish set up i...
