Thanks for the display. I changed both games sound lines as shown, also with window mode set at 0 and at 1. CEaW is still not showing up in taskmanager. The java.exe is using +112,000K's. I chose the low end CPU option. After the intro video, it still just flashes loading game... . I let it do this ...

I downloaded them both last week. I never change from the 60hz rate. The game doesn't load to be able to turn off the sound. The sound card is Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi.
