Hello, at my club in Spain we have played FOG a lot, and we had some discussions about rule themes. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I wanted to contribute with some ideas for rules change: - In the first melee, no BG can expand (feed bases). This will prevent BG to contract i...

Orb formation

Hello, in my club we have some questions about the orb formation (rulebook pg 122). The problem comes with the number of dices that the unit can roll in impact or melee, and the number of dices that their enemies can roll. Let's see it with this diagram: KN KN KN KN SP SP SP SP SP SP SP SP A BG of S...

I have a different opinion. Rules for troops fighting in overlap are described on the page 76 of the Rulebook, in the part BATTLE GROUPS ALREADY IN CONTACT BUT NOT YET COMMITTED TO CLOSE COMBAT. There it says: "Battle Groups in front corner to front corner contact only are not committed to clos...

Bolstering question

Can a BG be bolstered in close combat?

Must/can the Commander be fighting in front rank?

But in the Rulebook says only: "... at least partial edge to edge contact with another and all facing the same direction" (P30).

Is there a FAQ anywhere for all these questions?
