Hello Spanish infantry won the fight with arquebus, like other armies. The shock of pikes were a rare situation. They didn´t attack like a macedonian phalanx, first, the arquebusiers softed the enemy. But the spanish pike was very aggressive in combat. Perhaps defensive pike is a ggod idea, but i th...

Spanish infantry didn´t charge without orders, maybe a mutinee troop, but it´ll be in S. XVII.sagji wrote:Why do you think this?generalinvierno wrote: - Pikes aren´t shock troops
Swiss? perhaps, like in the Battle of Novara, but I don´t know a lot of swiss pike.

Good Afternoon from Spain We are going to play a couple of battles of the 1500,s, Pinkie and Malta (Il Gran Socorsso), we´ll try to play with Fog (we used to play DBR, Warfage in the Age of Discovery and Tercios); with some changes. - Pikes aren´t shock troops - Tercios are mixed BG, (4-6 Arquebus, ...

Good afternoon from Spain
In Spain there are a good lot of players that don´t play because the rules are in english. I know that there is a spanish version (a very good version, maybe?); but I (we) want know When it will be published.
Thanks

Allies General
Good morning from Spain
I´m new in FoG; i have a lot of questions. One about the Ally general.
What is the different between an ally general and a sub-general (-10 points)?
Thanks

Thanks for the answer, Richard, but I disagree with you. If we read Pero Lopez de Ayala (in Andonain´s book), a famous antipetrista (anti-Peter) we may discover a big army supported Pedro; only in March (1367) 600 castilian knights joint Peter´s army. In the same Najera battle 1/2 of Enrique´s Army ...

Medieval Castilian 100 Years´s War English Allies?
Good Morning from Spain Hello, first FoG and its army list books are a very good job, well done. But in the Medieval Castilian list I cannot include any english allies. In the Castilian Civil War, Pedro I vs Enrique de las Mercedes, the english army of Eduard (el Principe Negro) won the battle of Na...
