Re: 1943 and Pacific

Overall... I agree with your statement 'GomezAdams' … and perhaps it is just as well that it remain just that way. However... 'Historically'... much or even most of the time the Japanese Army and Japanese Navy were nearly two separate entities-at odds with each other... The United States Armed Forc...

Re: 1943 and Pacific

I wonder how are they going to do a Japanese Campaign story we the general or admiral will have to be a a special person or we are under the emporeor of Japan. Cause there is no way you can have control of naval and ground stuff at the same time cause both the Japanese Army and Naval hate each othe...

Re: 1943 and Pacific

That's typical for a very small business of any kind. You hit issues and problems you didn't foresee so it slows down a project. Next thing you know you think it might be a better idea to finish off another project that seems to be going well and then get back to the road block issues on the other p...

Read the thread. That's not accurate. I've had enemy units surrender with nobody around them at all but my attacking unit. Plenty of hexes to retreat to, 4 units left, surrendered.

You know, that makes more sense. It hadn't moved the turn before because it had put in reinforcements.

Re: Retreat mechanics

Well, I am just guessing. I've seen troops with 4 left in them surrender when there were several empty hexes all around them. Nothing in that drawing can possibly explain that.

Re: Retreat mechanics

I think there's also a factor of how experienced the unit is that needs to retreat vs. the experience of the attacking unit. That's why you have some units surrender when it appears that they have a means of retreat sometimes. Example: a unit with no stars of experience is attacked by a unit with 4 ...

Re: Changing difficulty question...

OK...only at end of the scenario...hope they make that option available at other points in the game. What would be the point in that? That would allow you to start a scenario on hard but then easily switch it down to easy again once you hit tough going. Achievements and rewards are based in large p...

Hi guys! since there is an Update I cannot load my previous started games. I am going to need some help! What can I do about it? Do you have it installed through Steam? If so, verify the install. Restart your computer and then go to your Steam library, find Panzer Corps 2, right click it and hit pr...

Re: how to get enemy technology?

hello how to get enemy technology? Anytime a unit you're attacking surrenders you have a chance to "capture" their equipment. In order to access that equipment you go to the store like you would to buy anything else you need. Here's a screen shot of the captured tanks I have available. I ...

Re: Sea Lion (first one)

I won it the first go with three fighters (FW 190 A) and three Ju87 D's. Plus of course the two inexperienced 109's they give you. But I lost my most experienced Panther and my second most experienced engineer group. I also lost an artillery unit, but it was relatively new so no big loss there. I si...

Re: A look at the new Limited Stock feature

You have to alter your gameplay, to save/protect precious units. Exactly. It got me yesterday as I attacked Moscow. My best Panther division got hammered. I withdrew it all the way to spawn point to protect it rather than risk losing it forever. It hurt my advance on the left and it took me about 5...

Two different developer teams completely knocked out at the same time? How negligent does one have to act as an employer to achieve such a result? No home office? No PCR tests when you have to be in the office? I hope they all get well soon. But that's an administrative disaster. :( I've lost two d...

Re: Camo list

Sorry if I am not understanding, but:

If we buy the General edition, do we get access to all those camos and insignias as we play through any regular campaign and / or a scenario?

Or do we have to design our own scenario or campaign that allows us to use them?

I haven't checked out the DLC yet, so maybe has already happened, but it would be nice to have dunklegelb (or however you spell that) for Germans https://www.gf9.com/Portals/0/all_images/Modelling/painting/Panzer-IV-H-01.png You almost had it. DunkELgelb. Literally: dark yellow. It is not in the ga...
