I don't mind the 'new seed' RNG. I think the only time I have recently used the load->replay cheat is trying to get a DV in moscow 41...was killing until it started raining on day 7 and didn't stop long enough for 'muddy' to go away. (if anyone knows how to DV moscow 41 on FM with freaking 10 ...

just beat moscow 41 and sealion 42 (DV) - and it was a 'bitch' both times. On FM difficulty. I don't think I have the chops to pull off a DV in either of those with the 'extra' difficulties. . . .

Just to be clear - you can register your serial to your Slitherine account at any time. It automatically registers it if you ever play multiplayer. Once regsitered you are able to download your games again whenever you want. Even if you dont register we can still look up your orders by e-mail ...

It's not that the 'old' way of doing things is that hard, it's just that the 'new' way is a heck of alot easier.

impar's point is a particularly good one esp with the DLC. Having to keep track of 10+ key codes is kind of annoying, and having to try and track down 10+ key codes if you 'lose ...

I think the biggest attraction to steam vs 'other' digital DL formats (even direct from dev/producer) is that it keeps track of all of your games and makes them available when you move on.

I played my last game all the way through, the long way. Sealion 42 -> Italy ->Germany and I scored 2 freaking SE the whole game : )

I thought you should have been starting to falter - I blew alot of my early advantage with stupid attacks in the 1st couple rounds; and my use of air/AA was really bad. The rematch would be much .... closer.
