A small thing; give frozen lakes a different tile than unfrozen water. I created one a long time ago and I can contribute it if you want.

Ok, here is my first complete mini-mod. The "Frozen Tiles mod v2.0", this idea was born because a long ago I downloaded a mod (don't remember the author) who made visual changes to small (one hex) lakes when frozen... This was a good idea, because in winter maps, ther rivers changed color...

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I see no harm in decoupling overstrength from experience. The potential problem with making the game easier by overstrengthing units I think is a moot point because you can't afford to overstrength everyone. Sometimes no one.

I didn't see it anywhere, but I wanted to ask if Allied Corps is going to live with the rest of Panzer Corps like Afrikakorps did, or will it be a completely separate standalone? I'm hoping for the former.

I would like to ask for a simple tile for frozen lakes, separate from ocean tiles. This would help visually identify lakes that can be traversed, similarly to the way that frozen rivers and streams help me to easily identify when I can cross without a bridging unit.

Meh. I know it can be justified in several ways, but I'd still like to see the idea retired.

Something I've never really understood is the rule that says that only aircraft located on top of an airfield can repair. If I understand the point of the mechanic allowing the 6 adjacent hexes to resupply aircraft, that's done as a game concession to the fact that more than one air unit needs to us...

I don't think supply should be a factor in the game any more than it already is. Just shoot me, I guess, but it's pretty good as it is.

Maybe I'm just feeling grouchy today, but why should I bother to beta test? The map problems I found with Afrika Corps weren't fixed. I took some hours looking over maps for errors, but I feel like my time was wasted.

But I wanted to add that I think that you should continue in the vein of historical Grand Campaign series, and major expansions like Afrika Korps to explore some of the 'what if' alternate timelines. I agree, if the old ones were ever to be reworked, they should match the excellent new ones. They're definitely superior.

Considering the scope and historicity of the Grand Campaign DLCs along with the same of Afrika Corps, I don't see how this is possible in a sensible way.

If planes can't see any ground units in bad weather, then shouldn't the converse be true also?
