Ok, I'll try to make due for now :-)

Re: Resolution and windowed mode

My native desktop is 1920x1200 and I prefer to use straight HD (1920x1080) when making Let's Play videos. Which I intend to do for this game ;-)

Resolution and windowed mode

Hi,

Is there any way to change the resolution and set the game to windowed mode?

Re: GC39 Video AAR/Narrative

Wow, these things are very cool :-) Thanks for taking the time. It's really nice to see how you think and reason as you move across the maps. I learned a lot!

Two minor suggestions: Turn down the volume on the game a little and can you upload in HD?

Yes. Last minute AT/BT/IS spam is kind of dumb.

Re: Urban Warfare - PZIIIN/Pioniers

Comparing the stats, the FJ has 6 soft attack vs the Pios 5. Since initiative is capped in the city, thats the only combat advantage for the FJ, the Pios have the advantage of ignoring entrenchment. There I would prefer the Pio, because avoiding casualties is key when attacking a numerically superi...

Re: Urban Warfare - PZIIIN/Pioniers

Pio's right now are underpowered both compared to cost and role. Other types of infantry do their job better or cheaper. IMHO, they should be even more expensive, but a lot better at attacking forts, trenches and city hexes then they are now. In the open or against tanks and heavy weapons infantry t...

Re: Optimal Use of Heroes

I have a +3 initiative para. Any suggestion on what to use him for? Honestly, of all the stats in this game, init is the one I am the most clueless about. I can never figure out how much of a difference it makes. Also, is it just me or is +3 attack wher. inf. extremely good in the 39-40 DLC? Would t...

Thanks for the input :-)

I played the British branch the last time, so I'll go French this time. The smaller map on the first scenario closed the deal :-p

Re: Eliminate Elite Reinforcements post 1943?

I wouldn't mind seeing different levels of elite replacements, but to not be able to maintain a 5 star unit after '43 does not appeal to me at all. I'd rather see a tired cost for both replacements for units and new units, where I can choose the number of stars the replacements/units have and the co...

Re: Sad but True!

Just out of curiosity, what program did Kerensky use to make those videos? Is there like a free video-capturing program that is available? I noticed a distinct lack of PzC videos on youtube, which is unfortunate because this is a great game. Back when I tried my hand at casting I used FRAPS. Works ...
