Resolution and windowed mode

Is there any way to change the resolution and set the game to windowed mode?

None at the moment, the game just uses your desktop resolution and there should be no need to reduce it. Window mode is on our list though.

My native desktop is 1920x1200 and I prefer to use straight HD (1920x1080) when making Let's Play videos. Which I intend to do for this game

Alright, we now have one reason to add this option to the game. But until then, the only solution I can think of is to switch resolution manually.

You are using Windows 8 right?

Windowed mode is an absolute must ASAP please. This is a "bare bones" option that should not have been left out of the release (IMO).
