FOG digital 20% off
I was looking at purchasing FOG the digital version PC game, and it allows an option to get any expansion for 20% off. When I click on these they seem to be the same price of $9.99US should they not be $7.99US. I have proceeded till the providing credit card details, as I thought the new price will ...

The board size was small 4 foot x 3 foot so that wasn't a real problem at all, I don't think I got out flanked in any game. Rather they ran straight through me. Well others might say that Romans will roll over pike and beat spear but I beg to differ. The impact phase you are evens with four dices ea...

Martin I just wanted to give the romans a try not an army I usually use, but I thought with smaller table they could get into a fight and hold there ground at least, as the knights, cataphracts and pike hit you could see the legions fly off with the blow they were receiving. In fact I think the long...

Terrain was pre-set I have gone through the links were listed. They just confirmed my viewpoint, legions don't stand a chance against pike, offensive spear, cataphracts or knights. Of all the reports I read only one was when the legions beat knights in rough terrain. Having legions in uneven ground ...

LF don't getting a cohesion penalty for losing to close foot
Had this come up on a recent game
my HF Romans were fighting some LF, when the LF lost the combat and working out the cohesion table, found they don't get a -1 for losing to HF, but if they were MF they would.
Why is there a discrepancy in this regard?

What is the distance that a unit can declare a charge?
I also thought and have played that a charge cannot be made unless the enemy is within your normal movement range. But on the weekend we had a discussion about this point on page 58 of the rules which are in brackets. If the enemy who would be charged are capable of evading - see later - assume a ch...

Romans what are they good for absolutely nothing
Well this is my rant. Played romans in a tournament last weekend with late roman republic, and found the Romans lacking in every department. From a cost to effectiveness level, they are well over priced. Average legions don't even bother in every combat they got in they lost, except 1. Unit of 6 The...

Battlegroups seeing Allies broken
Just a simple question do Battlegroups who see allies broken need to roll a cohesion test, or can do they ignore them.

I can see where this would lead to. If the legions can charge then burst through the routing body they would not drop a cohesion level, the routed body would move back behind the legions where they could regroup or continue there rout. But if the routers burst through the legions (and they were not ...

Where in the rules does it describe Bow*
On the POA there are several mention of Bow*, though my gaming group and I have not been able to find it in the rule book.
Could some please tell us the page number that describes what bow* are?

Evades hit in the rear
Situation arose the other day when we were playing and we could not find any reference in the rules. LH evaded from Cavalry but were caught in the rear (light horse rolled a 1 and Cavalry a 6) We did the impact phase with all the bonuses associated with the hit. Question: Can the LH or LF in any cas...

Opponent finder
Hello All
I am a new beta tester and was wondering if there were anyothers in Sydney Australia, that I could meet up and have a few games with.
After going through the threads I cannot find an opponent finder list so I am not sure if this is the right place to post this enquiry.
