Re: Crashing in multiplayer

That's so annoying. Just to be clear I click in the enemy's turn as well to speed that turn and skip the animations. In almost all cases it worked in the end. You can drop a support mail to Slitherine in the forum somewhere but for me that never worked. You will get a support ticket etc etc and ...

Re: Crashing in multiplayer

I haven't found a button so far to turn the enemy replay off. I had crashes in multiple situations. One time it was just after about a minute in my turn, even while doing nothing. Retried and the same happened so in that case I just skipped/ended my turn straight after it loaded, that solved in for ...

Re: Headquarters: World War II | Spring Classic Knockout Challenge Tournament

I had my first crash in turn 3 playing as the allied. I just had to wait a bit, or try to do anything, or type and the game would crash. The other turn is just fine so far. I managed to finish my turn the third or fourth try by not doing anything else than hitting the End Turn button. Not the best ...

Re: Crashing in multiplayer

Just reading this now, a bit late. For me it worked to skip skip skip through the opponents turn just using the left mouse button. Maybe this is helpful to know for future situations.

Re: I use the latest patch - am I sad?

I started turn 5/6 of round two and ... Crash... But this could be an accidental normal crash. I'll fire the game up in a bit and hope for the best :-)

I think she can be only attached to US land units?

A look at the message - I was reading it wrong?

HQ-WW2-260217.png

So, this message at the start of a tournament game says I am using version 1.04.12 but "the Game" is using 1.3.0

I was reading this wrong and was thinking that my opponent was using this version, sorry about that. But without trying to blame someone, was the tournament prepared ...

I use the latest patch - am I sad?

Just a little remark, not a real complaint. While playing the tournament(s) all my game start with a warning that I am using a newer version of the game and that incompatibility can give issues. In 2 of the 3 rounds so far I had one match per round crashing after a few turns. I have to reload and ...

MP Scoring - Strategic Command - At the Start of a New Turn, Right?

So I read the few post about scoring in MP or the MP tournament in my case. So pints are awarded "at the start of a turn". I am getting the hang of it but it's strange that in the one game you get points after your turn and in the counter game you get points, uhm, at another moment? I am still ...

Re: Steam Badges 100 out of 102 question - Solved

Solved! I learned again that you can see your medals and commendations by clicking on the scenario map in the Campaign modus, one by one. I replayed tree missions that had all medals but could miss some points? That didn't work. After checking all my older screenshots I couldn’t find any more gaps ...

Re: Steam Badges 100 out of 102 question

I meant Charnwood instead of Cherbourg, I played the UK. Is there a way to see your campaign score in the game? I mostly make a screenshot of the outcome but an ingame option would be great for looking back.

Steam Badges 100 out of 102 question

Hi, I just promised myself to get all the Steam Badges so I could be sure that I played and finished all campaigns, scenarios, add-ons etc. But now I have 100 out of 102 badges, with the ones remaining being "The Infantry Assault Badge" and "The War Merit, 2nd Class With Swords". They are earned by ...

Tournament - Weird Scoring Result

I played the first round of one of the Tournaments and I finished both sides in time and got an end score. It was something like 60-75 with me losing. And now in the scoring table I receive only 18 points instead of the 60 point because I "timed out"? But I finished both sides of the game in time ...

Market Garden - Operation Berlin scenario experience

So I was just wondering something regarding the last mission of Operation Market Garden. After playing the game 200+ hours I noticed that I never finished the last scenario - Operation Berlin.

So I tried it another time after a long hiatus, and again and then again and once again and again and ...

Tournament - PvP - Scoring ?

Hi, I'm still having some problems understanding the scoring calculations of the games in the tournament. Please mind, I don't care if I win or lose, I am just in in for the fun and the challenge no matter the outcome. But listen, and if possible, explain what I am missing.

So my last game ended in ...

Re: Questions before buying

At the moment, just yet, the game is in a bundle at Fanatical which I use and trust. It's funny because I own most Slitherine games but they have a Military Operations bundle right now, with great Slitherine games and also HQ WW2 for a very low price (5 euro), if you want to try it. Just a tip..

Re: Questions before buying

Good questions.. I played the game now for 193 hours, I'll try to share a bit of my experience.

You have a small core, I think 8 units and when they are hurt they come back full strength at the next scenario in a campaign with all earlier received experience and perks intact. If they are 'killed ...
