Tournament Game Crash - Updated Reply with Solution

Post by pupski »

In the ongoing tournament, second round, one of my game crashes at the end of my enemies turn. And after trying again it crashes again. And again. So I can not play my turn... I have the latest patch installed but my opponent uses version 1.03 which can pose incompatibility, as I was warned of at the start of the match. So sad. So will I be punished now because I can't finish the game? I am still emotionally recovering from the PzC2 tournament that suddenly disappeared after some errors in the tournament system with no single response from (my very favourite game company) Slitherine. Can I get a hug?

Re: Tournament Game Crash

Well I have a positive update. After the crashing I tried stuff and reloading and resetting a couple of times but nothing helped. After receiving the next turn for the parallel game I (re)loaded the crashing turn one more time, and out of frustration or deception or just for the fun I clicked with the mouse button continuously (to speed up the turn) and guess what happened? It didn't crash and I could just play my own excellent and strategically very clever turn. So if you have these same issues, try the clickclickclik (fast) method and maybe you are lucky as well. Probably a graphical thing than that was skipped by clicking and was prevented by that to make the turn crash. I have all the luck.

I just helped an old woman in the super market that tried to get the last pack of Mueslibollen (it's Dutch) but couldn't reach it because it was shoved all the way back in the rack. I was looking for these same mueslibollen but I helped her out and didn't feel bad about missing out on those gorgeous muselibollen, that were also on discount today. And what happened. A bit further there were suddenly some more mueslibollen in a rack were they are normally not situated. So much luck! And now this, also so much luck! Maybe we also get world peace today, I haven't turned on the news yet.

But I hope the clicking fast tip helps someone else as well, it made me enjoy the day a bit more.
I think I am gonna eat a mueslibol now, bye!
