I played against Ottoman last Thursday at our club. I think your army design is slightly flawed. Your cav should all be armoured or you will be down in melee against good cav.

Just my thoughts.

Looks more like a Visigoth not Vandal army with the Dom Roms onboard. You're right but check out the competition rules. They are the same army by another name. I'm not sure how it became Early Vandal and not Visigoth. Sorry to upset you. It really does cover the table at 900 points. I fought both b...

Can't believe you guys let the Gimp win. I have to say there were two "Gimptastic" rounds of combat dice when my Warbands faced the mighty Cats. Fragged or broke the lot of them. I'm not sure this would have worked on Hammy's combat simulator. Great fun competition run by Tim. The Guiness...

A plan! A plan! Look I'm just their for the beer. According to Nik, I end up with a red hot poker up my ar*e. So it's going to be a good weekend whatever happens. I'm not sure why I chose WOR, but in fairness it has started a bit of a trend. I think I was the first one from Reigate to declare my int...

I'll pitch in.

I can do the Burgundians. I promise not to throw dice or chairs. I'll try not to double drop on each Cohesion Test. I will bring out the Gimp; maybe even bring the mask.

A good point, well made, Pretty Boy (that must be ironic).

So "buttock clenching" tests not to charge. As long as there is some buttock clenching
in the rules I'm happy.

I can't believe I'm saying this but......... One of the interesting things about FOG is that in Undrilled and drilled armies all BG's move all the time. As a fan of the undrilled types I'm not sure that the dissadvantages of undrilled troops are enough to make up for this. I am aware of the subtleti...

Ray "Bring out the Gimp" Duggins

p.s. being walked home by Hammy was disturbing. Mind you now he's cut his hair the 2 pints
of Guiness and 8 pints of Dark didn't lull me into a terrible mistake.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I played Terry Shaw last night at our club. He beat me 25:0 in 2 hours.

Terry didn't have to take a single cohesion test or death roll.

I bought some nice trees at Warfare. The bases are heavy so they don't fall over.

I would like to add my than to the organisers of Warfare. I must give a speacial mention to Tim who dealt with all the late army list. I'd also like to thank my opponents for some great games. FOG seems to bring the best out of the ancients competition crowd. Thanks again Ray Duggins p.s. Tim I'm st...
