Weirdly, this error only shows under certain conditions which is a very weird behaviour.

Imho in Novorossiysk2 you should be able to upgrade any Panther model to the E50 (maybe except the (P) variant). If you play with Industry Connections you might have some Panther G already and possible no Panther D anymore.

On a side-note: Are the three commendation Panther D supposed to be gift units? I got some Panther D from Industry Connections and could only reinforce the three units up to my protorype stock pile.

i will use the way to update units that is used in kummersdorf here, too. when that is done any panther can be used to updgrade.

They are gift units until u get any panther D parts. Industry connection will break any gift unit if u get it early.
This is nothing i can prevent and a downside of industry connections.

No i can't, but maybe u can. ;)
This looks like u are trying to start the campaign with a core that contains modified units and u turned off that mod.
If u want to use this core with the NH campaign u need to have the exact same mods active that u had when this core was saved.

Hope this helps.

Minor detail:
In Kuybyshev43 you can move around the russian tank group, However in the debriefing its still mentioned how the E tank destroyed them.

how did u manage to get past them without triggering them?^^

sadly u cannot do diffrent briefings depending on the objectives done. There can only be one briefing.

I read the briefing  It clearly indicated where the target dummies and the tanks are.

They seem to be just outside of vision range if you drive a tank into center of town and back out.

Btw. Feedback for Moscow43:
The whole scenario seems a bit off. Traversing the river just north of starting position and then rushing the depots and airports gave enough of a leg up that there was little incentive to push from the south and west with the aux units. The core was so far up moscows outskirts in a few turns that it was quite unlikely that they would even reach in time so that I just played them defensively to protect the objectives.
Was this mode of play intended?

Your core showing up there is supposed to make the difference. i am still balancing the scenarios, maybe i will reduce the deploy hexes on the east side and add some in the south and or west.
but yes the Aux should not be able to win this without your force showing up to back stab them.

Advance on tobruk notes: the occupy five tiles objective never reached 5. Either the sidi Omar tile specifically didn't work or something to do with moving units on or off the various tiles messed it up, it counted up to 4, but then stopped
Also, none of the bonus objectives seemed to grant commendation points.

Additionally, the 4 infantry units the arrived on the map later came as core units, was that on purpose? They all came equipped with the "infantrie" ferocious defense/survivor/first aid hero
Advancing to the Tobruk scenario, I now have 8 new core infantry: 4 grenadier, 2 wehr, 2 pionere, all with the "infantrie" hero

Also, for the Egypt scenario (the first one) the counter for units to the flank worked correctly, but it didn't display correctly (always counted as 0 units)

u need to have infantry do the occupation. i'll take a look what might be wrong there.

they are supposed to be aux, has been corrected and will be in next update.

Tobruk(flank): again the commendation points for saving the mortars didn't fire.

I wonder if this has something to do with it wanting to fire at the end of the scenario, but using the exit of your units to trigger the scenario ending, this prevents it from firing?

no, there are several typos still in there. just minor issues with a missing trigger or a wrong variable. will be fix with next update.

keep mentioning them please, makes it easier for me to pinpoint and fix. thx alot.

I'm getting ready to tackle the latest version of 43NH - reading the caches and commendations string, it looks like there are three campaign paths. East, west, and Africa. I loaded the first scenario and see that it starts with Novorossiysk which is the eastern front path.

I didn't see any options for going in a different direction.

How do I access each one? Do you have the option to pick a different path as you go move along? Thanks.

Libya notes: the scenario title is missing

The move to reserve tile overlaps the starting airbase, so returning planes automatically get moved to reserve

Also, at the end of the scenario, when attempting to hit the continue button on the victory screen, I got a:

Lua script compilation error: [string""]:650:<eof>expected near "end"

Which prevented me from going to the next scenario

moved the airfield to prevent unwanted interaction.

in 650 and follows are some "end" too many if u remove them it will work. will be fixed with next update.

Working my way through 43NH and after I finished the Stalingrad partisan hunt and clicked continue and got the following error.

Lua script compilation error: [string""]:515:')' expected near 'then'

Stopped me cold in my tracks.
