Stones1985 (Babylonian) defeats IMC(Sea People) by a score of 64 to 49. A game of 3 phases. The Babylonians won the initial shooting but then the Sea people swordsmen got stuck in and did some damage. However the swordsmen got increasingly isolated as the game went on and the Babylonians chariots were able to gang up and pick them off.

The Egyptians gained a central hill early in the game and hesitated to move forward given the large mass of Heavy Chariots on their right flank. After several moves of light troop skirmishing, the two forces began battling on the Egyptian left flank. Those efforts were indecisive, and cautious moves were made by both parties on the center and right flanks. The game remained quite tight in point differential throughout the game, and the Assyrians led by 53 to 50 before the last move. At that point, the Egyptian swordsmen broke several Assyrian units and continued those successes by follow-on attacks, which led to further breakages, ending in the final result.

The Sea People were hit hard by the arrow storm of the Assyrians, but they bravely broke through in several places and when they hit, they hurt the Assyrian line hard with their impact. However, there were more Assyrian units and with the combination of arrows and flanks, finally brought down a tough opponent. GG!

The *Schwerpunkt* of the battle was the high ground facing my right flank. The Philistine commander thought the elevation advantage would be enough to halt my attack. Instead, I had concentrated my best troops there; after taking the high ground, they executed a 90-degree turn and eliminated the enemy units one by one. My center and left flank played their part—holding the line while the right flank completed its objective. Thanks for the game, Bagatrix; you really managed to put me under pressure, especially in the center.

There was a flat hill in the middle of the map that both armies went for; it was chaos with arrows, spears, and flanks everywhere. Ultimately with a little luck, and Assyrian arrows auto-breaking the last few units, they prevailed over the valiant Egyptians. GG it was close!
