It seems the "United Nations" of this forum are ruling against these topics of discussion (in accordance with the charter we signed to participate here); it therefore seems wise to respect their wishes to avoid dealing with a peacekeeping mission or (worse yet!) a diplomat armed with a mandate.
I, the government of this thread, therefore call for respect for the forum's charter, in line with the wishes of the forum members.
Glory to Me, Supreme Leader of this topic, etc., etc...
On a more serious note, I bring good news. Work on the next chapter has not only begun but is nearing completion.
This time, we are continuing the British campaign. It features four scenarios taking place at the same time as the last chapter released of the Russian campaign, but a few dozen kilometers further north, in Estonia.
The scenarios will be slightly shorter than those I previously released for the Russian chapter. The scale will be a bit more focused. With the Russians, we played the entire army tasked with Latvia. With the British, we will command only the small NATO contingent assigned to support the Estonian army.

I took into account a past comment from Tobi regarding my first American chapter. Back then, I tried to stick to a relatively realistic order of battle; the ratio of US forces to Kurdish soldiers was thus very low and the bulk of certain scenarios was fought almost entirely with auxiliary units. There was less sense of progression, as the player's "core" force saw very little action in some scenarios.
To avoid this, I’ve opted for a less realistic ratio for this upcoming chapter, one that gives more weight to the player's core force. For the first scenario (the defense of Narva), for instance, the ratio is roughly 1/3 British units to 2/3 Estonian units. Given that your core force will be responsible for providing fighter cover, armored support, helicopters, and so on... the outcome of battles hinges more on your core than on auxiliary units.
I should probably rework the American campaign, by the way ; much like I recently did with the Russian chapters. But I’ll get to that later.

My goal is to release this next chapter by the end of next week. So far, three of the four scenarios are ready. I’m currently balancing the third one. It’s a partially defensive mission, and finding the right balance is tricky: I need enough enemies to keep the pressure on the player, but not so many that they get swamped by an ocean of units. While the first two were easy to balance, this one is proving difficult.
Still, I’m sticking to the plan.
I’ll be back at the end of next week with a new chapter ready to go.
... if everything goes well
And thanks again to everyone for your suggestions!
