Re: Play balance

I don't have a strong opinion at this moment whether the victory conditions need adjusting in order to change mindsets. But if the goal is to encourage the German player to act more aggressively in trying to cross the Meuse and exit the Northwest part of the map then I'd suggest the simplest soluti...

People requesting things on the forum doesn't make them magically appear in the game. Even if the devs wanted to add the features that we asked for they would need to be implemented and tested. None of this happens overnight.

There is an update in the App Store and IIRC that is one of the fixes

Re: Play balance

Given the aim of the game and the scenarios perhaps a solution is to make the lack of control of any zone on the Meuse be an instant loss for the Germans?

AI responses to Bastogne and Panzer units

I have noticed two issues with the German AI (especially Deitrich) 1) The AI (even the Allies) is more than willing to abandon Bastogne to react to almost any threat. Is it possible to have the AI less willing to cede the city? Its a bit disheartening to have the VPs handed to you. 2) The German AI ...

Re: Suggestions for BotB

Just wanted to add my vote for a few of the suggestions made here. Some sort of "Done" button is really helpful especially for the Allies in the early phases of the game. Multi-player would be a lot easier for the Allies as well if you could just sign-off of the turn. I would really like t...

The Germans winning with units not in supply. That shouldn't happen as it did in your case

The main annoyance you mention is a known bug that has been addressed and I suspect will show up in the first update

Yay! I really would have liked that in my last online game as Big Troy made some sneaky moves I would have loved to comment on :-)

Is it possible to make your topics have a more explanatory subject? The current subject really doesn't help people understand what the question is and I suspect that a lot of people probably just skipped reading it.

Re: The AIs

After my first game, an easy win, I noticed that Dietrich didn't really even pay attention to being surrounded (I understand that's part of his strategy, but my take is that he'd just as soon be surrounded as not), so I started leaving open holes hoping the AI would dash in and let itself be surrou...

When you have points available, the game will highlight eligible units. They will have a blue line around hem. Click on one to allocate a point to it and then click Commit to continue.

Re: Difference between axis AIs?

I just play a Bulge scenario where Sepp walked into a wall of allied forces and then slipped south of Bastogne to try to reach the Muese. Sepp played very loose with units and supply in order to dash to a victory and I was able to catch him out doing it. Something that I have yet to see In a game so...

Re: UI tweak

1) the problem is that it is two clicks to enable it and then two clicks to disable it. Four clicks for something that should be a simple on/off toggle 2) I am aware of that but I find it clumsy and I also want to be able to view the map easier than I currently can as my hand is then in the way when...

UI tweak

Would it be possible to add a few buttons to the main screen (maybe just ghosted white icons) so that it is easy to 1) toggle supply on and off 2) toggle units and frontlines on and off 3) display VP locations In addition would it be possible to have the bridges pop a bit when you view the map with ...

Re: Is it Possible for Germans to Win "Race to the Meuse"

I actually beat Monty in my first game. Haven't beaten Patton yet though :-) Aggressive armour movement is the key. Push it forward to attack and use the infantry to secure your supply lines.
