Edit: Yes, balancing certainly needs a lot or work. I'm just still unsure whom it favours currently. Probably depends on the map you play on.

Does anyone know what exactly the conditions are to get the additional IG units? Is it holding the VPs or keeping the IG units alive? Or maybe both? If it's the VPs, how come the orks don't care about them at all? :?:

You will have to work cost effective. Even if you loose more than the enemy it's no problem if your units are cheaper. I learned it is very effective to bring your boys in in waves (realy orky :D). It's pretty damn good. I can recomend it.

The biggest problem is how some units behave very anticlimatic. Aircrafts can't go over cliffs and assaults can't jump over anything at all. Units have a very limmited amount of different roles to play and that hurts the game the most imho.

Yeah we were talking about different things. Such a ROF does not exist in Armageddon to my knowlege. Every stregth of a unit shoots a natural number of shots so the overall shots are always unit stregth times number of shots. What I don't know is, how that works with initiative. The shots a unit fires per member of the unit are openly visible in Armageddon. I also like how the game shows you the accuracy of the units calculated with all modifiers. That's very helpfull to see how much cover and other units in the way acually do to the damage output. But you can get 3 tactica...

As long as every unit takes up one space in "population" people will go for the highest quality they can get for the money they have. A terminator with assault cannon is just always better than a tactical. Reinforcement costs are no valid argument as a high quality unit usually takes fewer...

few bugs that are making the highest difficulty levels of the game much harder than they are intended to be. I didn't put much thought into the exact numbers there. My bad. :oops:

I just feel that small arms is to effectiver vs. tanks and penetrating fire is too effective vs. infantry. Bringing the damage of small arms down and the shots up could fix that.
