Loading screen file location
Can someone guide me to the location of the loading screen graphics? While I was able to locate most game assets in the game's folder, these continue to elude me.

Age of Belisarius - historical and design scenario questions
After coming to the conclusion that I lack some critical knowledge about the era (being a fan of Graves I knew "Count Belisarius" and "Anekdota", but that's all) I decided to go through the whole Procopius, especially De Bello. Now, while Procopius was writing in a heavy stilised...

Expansion DLC menu backgrounds
Does anyone have the new soldier backgrounds present on the covers and launchers of DLC's? I would like to be able to change the menu background, but I see that there is only the file from base game.

Superior falxmen
From my my observation of the game falxmen units, while appearing as unwashed mob of people with sharp stuff on sticksTM, tend to have the training of crack troopers (superior). Is there any historical reasoning behind this? What kind of units were these?

Horse army strategy
So I have recently returned to the game (haven't played since Legions Triumphant) and after seeing Age of Belisarius focus on bizantine horseback combat I suddenly realised I have no clue how to play with them. In the base game and subsequent DLC's I've spent 50h on playing various Roman, Greek and ...

A veteran wargamer struggling to actually do something
Hey there, everybody! So, I decided to get myself Pike and Shot. What bought me was the ability to reenact the English Civil War, which, as a hobbist-historian, I am very fond of. It was supposed to be an easy ride - after all, I broke my teeth playing various clones of Panzer General, as well as Co...

Re: Axis Volksgrenadiers? What?
I don't think we uderstand each other corectly, which may be due to, I must admit, quite an erratic and a tad emotional statement of mine. To give you some examples, I made two screenshots from the game itself, presenting a rather absurd usage of word "Axis" in terms of aformentioned Volks...

Axis Volksgrenadiers? What?
Ok guys, the game is very good, I spent some really nice time defending and Breaching Bastogne a hundred times and sending Gerries one way or another back to Berlin (and sometimes back to Paris, in tanks), but please explain to me one simple thing. Why the hell am I playing a historical game with ge...

Re: War is Re-launched! Vulkan' Wrath Released!
The new missions are great, but I have two questions.
Why there's no option to play the campaign as separate scenarios, and why is there no voiceover?

Re: Unit and unit types review
Well- I'm sitting in the middle of "Defending Tartarus's Industry" on Challenging, and I have quite a few observations about how absurdly units tend to behave: First of all- Terminators. For a quick reminder- these are the guys Codexes describe as "possesing armor thick as a tank"...

Strange, I've experienced the issue only once and reloding the game solved everything.

Re: New Possible Functionality for Glory
Glory should work just like prestige from PC/UoC/strategy_wargame_name_here, the only difference being the "eliness" of buyable units. It may be, of course, implemented into some sort of ranking system, but I personally don't like the idea. I think it's better to stick to elite tanks, hero...

Re: Victory hex query.
It becomes yours the moment you unselect the unit that stopped on it.. Note that the unit must stop at the point- passing through will do nothing.

Re: Dedicated TANKS, as mentioned by Kerensky
I would also add that Terminators and SM's alike should be able to choose between Rhino transport and Land Raiders, as it occurs in WH 40k In the tabletop game, Terminators cannot enter Rhinos, they are too bulky. And except for Terminators, it would generally only be command units that have Land R...
