How about pre-loading the animations?

Post by Malcador »

So, even after patch 1.03 I (and many others) still experience terrible lag whenever a unit opens fire for the first time.

It looks terrible and it's a pity because it breaks immersion and ruins the animations which are really pretty.

How about adding a few seconds of loading time to fix this?

Strange, I've experienced the issue only once and reloding the game solved everything.

The issue is present every first battle animation after starting up the game (sound + animation), so if you reload without quitting the game entirely you won't get it again.

I would like to see the implementation of per-caching of animations too. Both my PC & iOS device have enough RAM to afford the ~150mb worth of animations

I think anyone's computer can.

It's very annoying, as it targets the only thing that makes the game feel alive and not a screenshot slideshow.
