Superior falxmen

Post by GenNikolaj »

From my my observation of the game falxmen units, while appearing as unwashed mob of people with sharp stuff on sticksTM, tend to have the training of crack troopers (superior). Is there any historical reasoning behind this? What kind of units were these?

The Bastarnae were particularly known for the use of the falx, and had a particularly fierce reputation.
