I think with regard to die rolls there are some critical ones that can cause huge swings. I had a Poor, Undrilled battle group and it happened to have Portable Obstacles. I have a bunch of chariots...and wanted to look at a Biblical army emphasizing them.
I can fairly well put Mitanni together given the support troops on the list and my available figures. I'm just wondering about he necessity to be Drilled, or not drilled.

You count full bases if the rear rank is the 1st shooting rank so 3 bases shooting,one thought that struck me with this is when you lose a base which in a mixed group will almost certainly be a front rank base ,the rear rank base moves up,does that now become the 1st shooting rank ?
