Yes I was tempted to pick up a game or two with at least 30% off. 10% I don't think so. I guess I will wait till a couple of the titles I have been eying go on sale.

Re: Field of Glory 2.0 - coming October 18th!
So for the new digital army books, is it basically the same as the printed version with only a errata with the changes? Will this errata be available separately so one would not have to buy the digital army list books? Also am I correct in that you can only view the army list book if you buy the mai...

From the North American FOG yahoo group it looks like we will have enough people for the tournament on Friday, and someone has offered to run it. I will be there and will help out also.

Re: Field of Glory goes 2.0 !
It seems Slitherine is saying that having a printed book will cost to much will have issues with leftover stock, then they say they will not make money with all the development with the rules for the different systems. So I guess they will never make any money either way? I also question on how much...

Re: Medieval German City Leagues
I am amazed as this has not been corrected in the errata for some time now. There is a thread on this already. Some reason that they should only be unprotected average as the main Free Canton list can only have then as unprotected average. This is how I also take them in my army.

Free Canton Spearmen
Looking to build a unit or two of these guys. The book says they did not carry shield. I am wondering what people have used to represent them or what they would recommend to use.

Lancers in overlap
So this came up in a game recently. A unit of knights with lances was fighting in an overlap to a foot unit that was fighting another foot unit. In front of the knights about 1 inch away I had a unit of medium foot offensive spear. So the Knights did not have to test to charge my medium foot as they...

Imperial German light foot
What is the reasoning for the allowance of only one light foot unit in the Imperial German list in Oath of Fealty? I like playing this list, but wish I could get another light foot unit. Did Imperial German armies having little to no skirmishers?

amrored vs unarmored pike
From looking at the various Italian wars lists, I am wondering witch to go with armored or unarmored pike? What has been peoples experiences in games? Would you go with one or the other depending on if it is in period or out of period.

Ok since no one responded I went back and found that in the back of the army list books were it says how to build an army using the lists. In it says that all the special rules apply to the main list and any allied contingent made from the allies list. So it looks like that I would have to take a un...

Thanks for the quick answer. I am somewhat disappointed in this decision to grade them as all Medium foot. Now the Attalid Pergamene army can not take any Heavy foot unless taking Galatians or the Pikemen. I am sure that this affects other armies as well, in which a lot of people will be disappointe...
