Thureophoroi - why no Heavy Foot option?

Just started playing the game this past week. I am an avid player of the Tabletop game. I noticed that the Thureophoroi do not have the option of being Heavy Foot. I am missing something here or can they not be Heavy foot? If so then this changes the way some armies would be played or usefulness of some of them.

A definate design decision. We decided to take away a lot of the list complexity (and player erros building lists) by creating lots and lots of sub-lists. But to keep things simple in many but not all cases where troops could be MF or HF we have only included the MF option. This is particularly the case where a printed list stated that ALL the foor on a list of one or more types have to be all MF or all HF.

Thanks for the quick answer. I am somewhat disappointed in this decision to grade them as all Medium foot. Now the Attalid Pergamene army can not take any Heavy foot unless taking Galatians or the Pikemen. I am sure that this affects other armies as well, in which a lot of people will be disappointed in. It would not seem that hard to allow this in the DAG as there are other type options I think in other lists that only allow for one to take one type or the other and not both.
