Re: Panzer Corps 2: Allied Operations - Italy: Vol. 1 | Announcement
Nice! A really quick announcements considering that Guards DLC is still really fresh, but a welcome one, as more allied content is always welcome. That said, if my understanding of earlier video talks is correct and this is done by the same team as Frontlines - Cyrenaica, then by all that's sacred,...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Elite - 1st Guards remarks
Almost done with the campaign and first impression is generally positive. I am very much enjoying playing as the Soviets, and the Soviet heavy artillery fits my doctrine perfectly. It's VERY easy to bank prestige (especially if one acquires a liberator, i turned an armored car unit into "the wh...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Elite - 1st Guards remarks
playing a realistic late war from allied perspective would be a walk in the park. or beating a pinata without a blindfold. Hmm, it wasn't a walk in the park in reality though. Soviet casualties were still in the 100,000s even in the final weeks. It should be possible to make a challenging game even...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Elite - 1st Guards | Announcement
Second that. I sometimes find really big, 32 turn maps exhausting. They have their place; I love the Ebro scenario in SCW and think it one of the best in all of AO, but one big long scenario after another, after another, and another...is tiresome. I much prefer a mix of medium and big maps/scenario...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Elite - 1st Guards | Announcement
This is the concept of this type of campaign sold at a small price. It is not necessarily the number of scenarios that makes the length of the campaign but also the size of the maps comes in the length of the campaign. sure, but that in no way persuades me to not be disappointed the campaign is so ...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Elite - 1st Guards | Announcement
It would be really great if you gentle souls could focus on the game and historical facts instead of your opinions on politics present and past. and yeah 'who wuz da good guyz is subjective AF unless you strictly define objective criteria for what constitutes "good Guyz an Baddd Guyze". do...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Westwall is Out Now
I did 2 runs in beta, and it's VERY good. Tough subject, considering what a mess some of these battles, such as Huertgen Forest, were in real life.

Re: A suggestion for heroes
I like the way heroes work in some campaigns: if you win a hero by completing an optional objective, you get some choice in the hero's traits. This is great, because some heroes that are ideal for one player's style border on useless for another's (provocator, for example).

The China and Japan ones are of particular interest to me also. These could go a lot of ways, but I'm hoping to see a lot of CBI/Southeast Asia as for me that's local.

Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
i didn't encounter any of that post-release. Seems like beta was a bit brief, maybe that would have helped. Watched the vid. These campaigns sound quite interesting. Linked campaigns all seem to be in threes. I hope these, and the Elite campaigns, have enough scenarios. I mostly liked Ghost Division...

Re: Panzer Corps Day 2025 - Recap
They're Italian and studious so they should know the campaign pretty well. I'm not concerned about the maps, detailed showcasing of historical details or the campaign overall, as these things were proven and well executed by the team already. I just hope they address some concerns about the effect ...

Re: completed Guost Division plus thoughts
]In the N.A. beta that you were part of, I did a detailed post on how to correct this for a continuing DLC. I remember the post, dont' remember the details. I do think that downgrading experience and heroes can and should be super simple and understandable to the end user. For Poland, "pick yo...

Re: Poland falls... with spoilers.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: A key axiom of screenwriting is, the first ten pages (analogous to 10 minutes of screen time) have to a) show viewers how to watch the movie, and b) get them into it, get them to care about what happens to the characters. The opening of this campaign completely failed to do this...

Re: completed Guost Division plus thoughts
If you are only a special commando unit I once again think that wont work with the game mechanis. You still want to get a bigger core, more heroes, more stuff...you want to participate in the huge battles. NO I DO NOT. i find massive scenarios utterly tedious. I quite like the number of units on th...

Re: completed Guost Division plus thoughts
The new Westwall DLC could have been maybe somehow fit into it, but I don't know that yet. I missed the initial call for beta testers so I have no idea how it'll fit. Even if Bulge and Westwall require a little bit of retooling, the opportunity for a US grand campaign that more or less follows Rick...
