Some questions regarding the Mixed Nationality Corps.

p158 of TofN - Composition of Divisions

Mixed divisions can only contain 1 or 2 units of cavalry.
All divisions must contation a least 3 units.

If you're having an infantry division to just sit there with the artillery, you probably just want to keep the infantry as cheap as possible.

Uhlan are lancers

Lances is a Special Capability, not the Troop Type.

Irregular is the Training, not the Troop Type

The problem is with the artillery .

They may field heavy artillery with 2-3 bases , the minimum being 2 and the maximum ....also 2 . :shock:
They may field medium artillery with 2-3 bases, the minimum being 2 and the maximum 4 ..

So you have 4 ...

A couple of questions regarding the "special instructions" in this list.

Cavalry units may be combined to form up to 2 cavalry divisions. A cavalry division containing both heavy and light cavalry must have a minimum of 8 bases of each.

AND MUCH heavy artillery options.
4-6 Med
2-3 Heavy
2-4 Med Horse
+1 att min per division.

That's what you call firepower. I am sure the french will be looking for a flank of this artillery

Althoug this is probably a mistake; as it forces you to take 4 divisions.

What is the correct cost of a Rocket Attachment; 10pts as per Page 92, or 12pts as per Page 120?

And, as rockets can only fire at long range, why would you take one over a medium gun (other than being able to field a fourth Artillery attachment in the Anglo-Portugese list)?

For 72 points you're almost matching a unit of 4 knights costing 92 points in melee (assuming both are 4s in two ranks) . Obviously, over time the 4 knights BG should win. But the mixed banner has the advantages of possibly disrupting the knights before contact; and also should have a longer battle ...

I used Poles against a Mamluk Egyptian the other week.
I had 2 BGs of all x-bow, 3 of all knights, and 4 of mixed knights/x-bow.

The all x-bow BGs were mauled by some Bedouin Lance cavalry, in the future I wouldn't rely on having 2 units side by side to attempt to maximise shooting.
