Indians are a great quick army--I'm painting my Classical army next and plan on doing a version of the approach Ethan suggested.

Back after an absence and wanted to throw in my two taels on Empires of the Dragon. Very well done book. The longer write-ups for each list are great, love the historical details. I also like the larger book covering such a large span.

As they are LF if a normal move +2 MU (i.e. 7MU in open) will get you clear, then you move clear. If you use this then you must get completely clear, you can't move other BGs out of the way as that is in the all other cases section.

I think the mounted class represents the smaller actual number of elephants than foot and I don't believe they would be any better at breaching a fortified camp than any other mounted. Us 2 legged types are better suited for running up and over those earthworks than large slow pachyderms.

"Armies and Enemies of Imperial Rome" by Barker and also out of print but readily available is a useful resouce, as are the Osprey books on the Spanish and Celts. I've used all for painting "the help" in my LRR army
