Thanks guys, I guess I have to wait for the next patch to a arrive, because the reason I didn't install 1.20 is because there seem to be some issues with it according to a few posts on this forum.

I had a city with a bunker completely surrounded with artillery, tanks, infantry for a full mass attack and it still took me more than 2 turns to bring it down on the lowest difficulty level.
