Re: classes.txt stats?

but these are classes. not individual units. Are you sure those numbers are those large ship/small ship etc stats? Because why would whole classes have those?

I assume that this is the order in which the types of variables are displayed, not the values of the variables

ah that makes sense ...

Re: classes.txt stats?

Hi guys, could someone tell me what each of the numbers under "stats" stands for? Many thanks

It's the actual "stats" of units and how they will be displayed in the bottom UI.

Ships have stats like "naval small/large attack/defense", ground troops "infantry/vehicle attack/defense" and air ...

Re: Quick Tournament 1

So since our first tournament was taking far too long, we decided to do another small, quick tournament only for players who can make at least 1 move per day on average. And here are the results!!!

Re: Multiplayer map 1vs1 - Guadalcanal and New Georgia v.4.8

version 4.8

reduced the number of planes for the first 15 turns, just like I was done with ships previously. This is to create the opportunity for a nice landing and maybe a battle of Savo Island without too much inteference from planes

reduced the maximum number of fighters to 4. I.e. 8 planes ...

Re: I still love this game!

My favorite Campaign is the Japanese Rising Sun.
I feel like a player-made Campaign or a DLC (Pacific Domination) to follow-up the original game would be fascinating and enjoyable.
Suggested scenarios:
- MIdway Redux
- Aleutian Expanse
- Eastern Redoubt (Conquest of the Hawaiian Islands)
As I ...

Yeah. Imagine if everybody pays once 5 USD or something, we can probably cover the expenses for 10-20 years

Re: hosted games appear in red??

If a game you have hosted appears in red, it seems there are 3 reasons for that.

If it's one of the original maps created by the developers, you need to make sure you have hosted the game with the gold star in the front. Not a silver star.

Just in case Erik is looking for a good source of never before seen WWII photos, there was an article I saw in The Guardian about a newly discovered source. Old Soviet propaganda pictures I believe. Some of them seem quite promising for events like the capture of a city or what not.

Hi,
playing your Finland 1941.
Just wanted to say that the guns transported on trucks are always trucks and never disembark.

Have you tried loading them on to a train, moving them and then unloading?
No. I just put them on sleep and stopped bothering with them. But thanks :-D

Re: 2v1 Finland 1941

I'm doing a total rework of the old 1v1 Finland scenario. I'm creating it from scatch.
There will be 1 Finnish and 1 German player against a single Soviet player.
The objectives will be different for the Finns and Germans.
All units will be aux, not core.

Btw, fringe railroads is a flaw in OOB ...
