Starting painting the stompa. Currently only coated it in black and did some basic painting, but the thing already looks much more attractive than before.

Re: Space Marine assault squad having 3 wounds -- bug?
That was true for shooter-type infantry (bloters, shootas, lasguns, support weapons and etc. that has rapid fire or heavy type). Assault weapons (like shotguns, flamers, meltaguns, pistols and etc.) allowed to fire before charging. So this is normal. The fact that assault marines move less than ork ...

Re: Demolisher 2-2?
But demolisher it is tank for city-fighting. When he is not vulnerable for close attacks, it is work as intended i think. Strong counter for demolishers\vindicators and thunderers should be long range anti-tank guns, (lascannons, zzap-guns) no? Камрад, спасибо за ответ "патамушта баланс",...

How large is that 'mini'? My Stomper is 36cm high. Wow, 36 CM high, that's pretty impressive! :D The model I linked is only 20.5 CM tall... I just might have to... bring out his big 33cm Brother to fight your Stomper!   http://i.imgur.com/SOlfIr0.jpg http://i.imgur.co...

Re: Patch Thanks! and ramblings
Well, all of the listed ideas are lore compatible. Assault marines actually have much higher initiative compared to orks (as well as all marines in general) and Blood Angels IIRC have a special property that gives them extra attacks (or strength?) when charging. Terminators are too powerful to be ab...

OFFTOPIC. Hand-made Stompa.
Hi. Sorry for offtopic, but i just couldn`t resist posting this here: http://vk.com/album-79492997_207641927 This monster was an attempt to create a unique and unusual Stompa for the Bad Moons from plasticard and various scrap. Turned out successfull and even participated in a couple of games. Many ...

Re: Please give us better explanation of predicted combat re
Makes sence. And actually makes high rate of fire weapons feasible... I wonder if something that simulates blast weapons will ever be simulated. Like battlecannons having a large area of impact and thus being more effective at grinding infantry. Leman Russes are usually taken for their multiroleness...

Re: Please give us better explanation of predicted combat re
Ah, I see. So getting 0 | 0 doesn`t automatically mean that the attack will not score a hit and damage a unit (ofcause in case of weapon being able to deal damage to a target). Nice to know. I`ve heard something of 'instant kills' being a possibility with high enough damage over armor difference. Is...

Re: Please give us better explanation of predicted combat re
What you see in predicted results is the maximum output of the attack, right? Or is it some average value?

Re: Rest & Refit vs. Replenish
Would be great to have a 'merge units' option after the scenario or during the fight. In a fight just select a unit with 50% strength or less, click on 'merge' and select any nearby unit of the same type with less then 50% of strength. Replenish hitpoints, morale and set new XP based on what both un...

If I recall correctly Ork elite infantry (both - basic and megarmored) get an access to a variety of transport vehicles. So it might be an oversight, no?

Re: Difficulty curve and unit tactical value trouble.
Would be great if you could buy titans and more advanced units only with Glory Points. 1 reaver = 5000 points, for example. If you wish to get more of them - kill more, capture more, loose less, eliminate specific enemies, complete secondary objectives and etc. Something like that. Loose a titan/adv...

If you make a decent mod that brings the gameplay too close to the table top game (with cool new factions and table top mechanics) I think you`ll get some bad attention from the GWJoubarbe wrote:Nothing to do with the GW policy then.lordzimoa wrote:modders can do what they want

Re: Giant wall of text (feedback)
Orgyns, Stormtroopers, Wierdboys and true flying units - everything of it was shown on screenshots and even in videos, but are not in the game for some reason. The bomber was indeed a 'WFT' unit once I tried to use it. The same feeling was when a minefield suddenly faced it`s attacker! FACED it`s AT...

Re: How is the hotseat mode working?
No you don't have to do anything - you just click play turn and it handles it all for you automatically. It's really quite simple and popular on other games that have it. In current MP game you click 'end turn' and get yourself dropped down to lobby where you just sit and wait starting to constantl...

Re: Futere factions/chapters
I`ve just realized that there are no Weirdboys in the game, but I do recall seeing them on one of the screenshots. Hm... Looking at the screenshots I also see an Ork Fighta and I haven`t seen it available in the game. Guess these caused issues and were removed until addressed? Regarding the mods - k...

Re: How is the hotseat mode working?
You issue a challenge and accept your own challenge and then just play like you would normally. You play your turn, it downloads it, you end your turn and it uploads it, then the next player plays his turn. Wait! SEROIUSLY? You mean that to play a hotseat game I MUST be connected to your server? Mo...

Re: No Hot Seat?
Our data says that MP where you have to be online for the entire game is played by almost nobody (and this has been my experience even on huge games from Westwood etc). It's just too tough to both arrange matches and for people to be online for hours finishing a fight. The async MP system that Arma...
