You could of course try a 20mm figure or even better a 15mm figure on a elevated base.
It would not stand out as much as a 25mm figure but on the other hand it would have the benefit that you would not need to provide tournament organisers with a declaration of sanity each time you want to enter ...

I find this an interesting discussion due to 2 things.

1 FC, 2 TC (Should have upgraded to a 2nd FC or even an IC with leftover points)
1 BG of 4 Noble cavalry, cav, protected, average, undrilled, light spear, swordsmen
2 BGs of juvenile skirmisers, ea 6 stands, LF, unprotected, average, undrilled, javelins
1 BG of archers, 8 stands ...

Why would any army be more suitable to get a win then another.
I would say that it depends more on how you use any given army and are able to see its weaknesses and strenghts.

If you are a player that wants to get stuck in with hard hitting infantry then it would be a rather dubious choice to pick ...

So rebasing 8 "Elephants" would be a good move.
That way I would be able to do 1x8, 2x4, 4x2 BG's
Or would 3x3 also be an option for "Elephants".

Well to be honest, someone that is happy with Essex is probably not going to like Chariot. Altough very nice figures they are pretty fragile especially compared to Essex. I dont know other ranges ...

Since I am not sure if I would need to post this here or in army design this seems to be the more logical question regarding Elephant BG's.

At the moment I am anticipating the rules.
However since I am also rebasing my undead fantasy army for use of FoG I am not sure what to do with these ...

I would suggest making one base per BG a "command" base.
That way you can add your character figures.

As with all crossbow, it's only so-so at best. The better the armour of the opponent, the less meh they are. My protected/sw/xbow seem to do fine against non shock troops. Though they do very little actual shooting

X-Bows actually had the punch to pierce plate ...

However, looking at Skeletons, it's appropriate in a Jason and the Argonaughts kind of way to have the Skeletons as Med / Heavy Foot and why not give them swordsmen skill - they seemed pretty damn good on the film!

Skeletons is still a bit a doubter but I think I will be going for the Medium Infantry since it conveys my idea of Zombies a bit more than Hordes (dont ask me why I have not found any written of other proof :wink: )

I have in my possession a large undead army based on 6x3 for Warmaster.
However since I am getting very interested in FoG I would like to rebase them for it.
I would still be able to play warmaster with them in civil war ...
