Roman republicans verses Indians.

Well in terms of flank marches, the romans couldnt pull it off. Silly me didnt read the rules regarding the use of medium infantry trying to outflank...11-12? Blimey - no chance.

having said this, had a cracking game. I especially enjoyed how skirmishers are pretty darn good at stopping an elephant charge in its tracks, but struggle to finally win the ensuing melee. heavy chariots against Triarii? No probs there - in goes the pilum, followed through with a nice sharp gladius. However, the indian forces are huge and some lucky dice rolls added to this mix whereby they bow/swordsmen held a roman charge!

OH MY sounds like real history for a change !!!!!!!
I should really buy those rules now.
