I think that Neal might be looking for non-tournament FoG events at Historicon, and so hadn't perused the tournament section. Cheers, Scott Ahh. Well, I know nothing about non-tournament events. Can't help there. Marc I know nothing about tournament events... :) I searched for "fog" and &...

F0G - Historicon?

Hey All,

I was just searching the online PEL for Historicon and noticed that there appear to be NO FoG games being run?

Is it just tournament stuff?

Seems like Slitherine/RBS/etc. could have convinced someone to run a game or two! :)

Thanks,
Neal

Mix them up! :)

If you are talking infantry, then you can have a lot of the same livery, but for knights you should mix it up.

Gallic Javelinmen

Hi, Quick searching did not find an answer... Rise of Rome - Gallic list p. 17 & 18 In the Starter Army it lists Javelinmen with Javelins and Light Spear The main lists (p. 18) don't list "Javelins" as a shooting capability. There is no "-" either. The Ligurian list (p. 19) l...

Flank Charge Reaction

Hi, I have done some limited searching and did not find an answer. Apologies if this has been Asked and Answered before... A legal Flank/Rear charge takes place against undrilled foot (i.e. other undrilled). P.56 last bullet says that the defending BG can turn bases 90 or 180 degrees to face the cha...

Hi John, Thanks for doing this work! This is probably a naive question, but... Is there anyway to make this QRS available for download outside of the Yahoo Group? I don't want to have to keep joining the group, DL'ing the file, then unsubscribing from the group. Yes, I'm not a big fan of that group ...

It means that you must choose to have 6 and no more than 24 bases of these three types.

You can have no more than 16 or any one type.

Surely a limitation of the list rather than of the system? For scenarios you don't need to use the list at all, after all. My suspicion is that there's only one BG available because otherwise elephants would have an influence in the army out of propation to their historical effect. But I'm just gue...

Yep charged BG.

An example of this will be Crusader spear/crossbow units. They have spearmen (defensive probably?) to receive the charge, but the crossbow should get to support shoot.

I have not seen a copy of the book, but that's how they normally work... :)
