Need to re download...
As the title implies, I need to re-download the core game and the Legions Triumphant army pack. I bought both of these back in March of 2011. Recently I had a catastrophic failure of my PC and had to completely replace the system. Of course like a fool I did not have a hard copy back up of the game ...

Komnenian Byzantine archers....LF or MF?
Upon some reflection, I've decided that of all the FoG armies I've owned my Byzantines were the most effective. Like a fool I sold them a year ago (yes, yes, I know...) so I am in the process of painting up another Komnenian army.
Now in it's last incarnation I built the archers in the list as MF ...

My first 15mm Swedes...
With the release of FOG-R I'm in the process of building a 30 years War Swedish army. This is my first unit: the Yellow Brigade, obviously!
This also marks the first time I've painted any 15s since I changed my painting style completely about six months ago. These are figures from Old Glory ...

Any Aztec armies yet?
I'm painting away as I (im)patentiently wait for the local game shop to stock "Blood and Gold". I want a teaser!
Does anyone have an army they created using the new Aztec list to post yet?

I just played, and lost, against a Sassanid Persian army. Terrain rolls did not favor me and my opponent was able to screen off the majority of my Bushi while attacking the weak points of my army. Don't get me wrong, I made him work for it. But it was a loss none the less. In the last two games, my ...

I painted up a Samurai army in preparation for the release of the new book. I finished it the week before the book got widespread release here in the US. I've played two games with my army so far and I like it. I've found that those large blocks of armoured, bow*, heavy weapon Bushi are pretty nice ...

Samurai vs. Macedonians....
Daimyo Honda Togashi looked out over the field of battle. No one knew were this
latest army of barbarians had come from, but here they were arayed in from on
him none the less. Honda had chosen his battlefield quite well. His left flank
was anchored by a pair of rice paddies, while on the right ...

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Batesmotel, I thought about that as well when I saw the photos. It's actually hard to see the mounted figures in the middle of the mixed bases head on like that. They are old Tin Soldier miniatures so yes they are two dimentional poses and kind of flat as well. I'll ...

Tennôheika Banzai!
Ok, ok...
That iconic Japanese war cry is probably not contemporary to the Muramachi era,
but what the hell?
I just put the finishing touches on my 15mm Japanese army for Field of Glory and
had to show it off. "Empires of the Dragon" is not even out in the US yet, so
