Ch'in Chinese infantry?

Post by Trench_Raider »

My Samurai are almost done and I'm about to start on rebuilding the Ch'in army I used to run some 15 or so years ago.

I know that the Warring States list gives the option to run hyper-agressive Ch'in infantry as front rank impact foot instead of the usual heavy weapon. Do they remain driled or do they convert to undrilled? I recall the entry from the list i saw, but don't recall the grading, and it's important for the basing.

Basing in FoG is the same for drilled and undrilled MF. Either can be 3 or 4 figures per base.

I'm aware of that.
However I tend to stick to the basing convention established with WRG 7th....three for irregulars and four for regulars. It helps distinguish them at a glance.

They become undrilled, as do any crossbow that are in mixed BG's with them.

Ouch, I didn't notice that.

People will want to hope the Qin/Ch'in charge them! Being impact foot AND getting additional rear supporting dice would be extremely painful!

Thanks.
That's what I was looking for.
