Would you post your army list, please? We are seeing the superior 6-pak musket + regimental gun combination a real tough nut during this time period!Blathergut wrote:The Later Germans with Weimarian allies proved to be a tough army. It fields 5 superior 6paks (one all-muskets) and all with regimental guns.

Re: Quick Play Sheet?
Is there an official Quick play Sheet yet? Yes, it is in the back of the rulebook. Other than that, there are a couple of unofficial ones amongst the files of the Yahoo FOGR group. There are two versions here as PDFs : http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/FOG_R/files/ , a condensed two-pager and the...

Burst Through
We had a situation where an impact foot unit failed it's test not to charge, and it was forced to burst through a friently LF unit in front. The LF was disordered and displaced to make room for the charging unit. However, in order to displace the LF, two other heavy foot units behind had to be displ...

... make light artillery a shooting capability . A legionary BG could upgrade to carry it. It would shoot 1 per 3 -- a usual 2 dice per 6 base BG, fire from the front, offer support dice at impact. The range would remain as is. If the legion BG moved, it could not fire (perhaps until mounted on car...

We have been playing Fog Renaissance for the last mouth. Even having play the same game twice (Fornovo) using both FoG A/M and FoGR and we were surprised how a few changes of some basic rules made Fog Renaissance an improved version of it. I hope that V2.0 goes that way. I believe that those FoG:R ...

Artillery Movement (pivot)
Page 57 says "Unlimbered medium or heavy artillery (and light artillery in Difficult Terrain) can normally only move by a single pivot on any one corner of the battle group's formation." The Simple And Complex Moves chart on page 56 for artillery says "Pivot forwards up to 1 MU on one...

Portable Defences
Understand that PD give no POA advantages versus foot, but do the PD at least negate the -1 in the Cohesion Test for "MF losing close combat .vs. HF in the open". Another way of asking the question, are MF behind PD not considered in the open?
