Aha, there *are* qualifiers!
Might be helpful if some of these were placed in the rules? (Unless they already are and I need remediation in reading.)

Qualifier to armor breakthrough?
The rules section reads "Attacking armor may move an extra space if all defenders are destroyed." I've had several instances now where attacking armor has eliminated defenders, but did not get an extra movement space. Cost me a game once as I was counting on the subsequent armor breakthrou...

Re: Non historical scenarios?
Yes more scenarios please! The game is beautiful and addictive but I've already burned through both scenarios. I understand how much work was involved in creating the first game ... developing the engine, AI, and UI from scratch but now that the foundation is so strong I hope future games will offe...

Too much blue?
So I think I can refine my previous critique. The Meuse is the blue line with a shade of green. A river is a blue line. The Axis boundry is the highlighted blue line. This becomes especially confusing when the Axis boundry is on part of a river. Does the river continue? Or is that simply the boundry...

Re: Question on bridge interdiction
I'll try it out. Kinda makes sense
Of course, this is NOT what the rules say. Maybe the rules should be clarified to reflect this if the "no second move over a bridge" statement is what's meant.

Re: Question re fortification bonus
Just bumping this thread up again. Great question -- haven't figured it out yet either.
In the Christmas Surprise scenario, for example, units taking equivalent fire seem to last longer in a forest compared to a fortification.

Question on bridge interdiction
First of all, fantastic game. I haven't been able to put my ipad down since it arrived. Here's what the rules state on interdiction: "Units may not cross a bridge into an uncontested enemy-controlled space." So in the first turn (as Allies), I evacuate Lullange, leaving a bridge connecting...

MP Challenges
I recently started MP matches. Very fun! Humans are much smarter than computers
How are MP matches usually arranged though? Is it through the forum? I ask because the majority of matches seem to be locked, and only 2-3 are ever open for public match.

Line of Sight, Cover, and Tanks
I'm fairly new to the game, so early apologies if this question is stupid. I've been trying to figure out exactly how line of sight works when there are intervening units. Tanks in a column for example, the last tank seems to be able to shoot over multiple tanks at a target directly in front of it w...
