Playing against an allied player that purchased around 10 airships and or bombers between England, France and Italy. He bombed pretty much every city from Sofia to Antwerp to the point where the CP can't purchase a thing AND I have to disband units in order to stay in the "black". I tried ...

Re: Clash of the Mortals -- For Allied Eyes Only
Mr. RKR1958 said "I don't understand the Axis decision to stand and fight." The answer is because running at this point means they just die tired.

Re: PBEM Server Problems
I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, updated it and now it appears to work. I was able to create a challenge in PBEM. I have no idea what reinstalling did but it seems to have resolved the issue.

Are you experiencing this kind of issue for this game only? Yes Do you have other games to try with? No Another useful info: you are saying you are able to login into the PBEM++, right Correct Are you able to play your games as well? I can play single player. http://i957.photobucket.com/albums/ae52...

Re: PBEM Server Problems
I set my IE to the lowest privacy setting, and I uninstalled Norton 360 and got the same error. Is there a port I should open in my router?

Re: PBEM Server Problems
At the top of the display area it says PBEM Error and at the bottom left it says Server Error. That's all. I'm sure eventually the questions will get around to the AV I'm running,
which is Norton 360, but I disabled it last night and got the same error.

PBEM Server Problems
I am trying to create a new PBEM game. I can select the scenario, select AI and Human control options, I can give it a name and optional password, but then get PBEM error, server error? Is the PBEM server down?

Thanks for the quick reply! I ran the game as administrator and change the Coresettings.ini and got through the first turn. Thank you very much!

Possible supply issue in GS 2.0
Situation is Finland has surrendered and there are two German infantry units in the two hexes just north of Lenningrad. These two units show level 4 supply. The German player has a fleet unit that can provide supply but shouldn't that be level 1 supply?

Did Allied pilots fight in Russia. Yes. To what scale I don't know but according to this link it seems minimal. http://www.bbc.co.uk/ww2peopleswar/stories/92/a3868392.shtml The Soviets interned US pilots coming from bombing raids on Japan because the Soviets were considered a neutral power vs. the J...

Allied Italian Gambit
I’m in the April turn of 1940 when my opponent pulled this tactic on me. So I don’t know the total ramifications yet but it could potentially be a problem for play balance and it is a purely ahistorical move. Situation is as follows; German’s sitzkreig until the first good weather turn of 1940 which...

American Oil
The point is that the Allies were NOT dependent on oil from the middle east at this point in history and should not suffer any penality if they loose any oil field represented in the game unless America is defeated. The allies were sufficiently supplied by the U.S. not only in oil but in synthetic r...
