Re: Operation Sealion Naval units
30 knots for Scharnhorst/Gneisneau, 28 knots for the PB's. Ok I should have not said much slower, however the PB's operated independently because they could not keep up with the Tirpitz/Bismarck, Scharnhorst/Gneisenau, Hipper/Prince Eugen CAs. BTW speed has nothing at all with getting to South Amer...

Re: Operation Sealion Naval units
Scharnhorst and Gneisenau were always described as "Pocket Battleships", rather than Battlecruisers in my father's extensive collection of naval history books and magazines. My understanding is that they were intended as low cost variants of battleships with proper armour and guns, rather...

Re: 2 Extra Range Artillery Opinions Wanted
Hmm.. good point proline. I guess the only downside is that the Nblf have lower ammo. Also, unless you can kill the AA outright with the Arty, then you will still need a tactical bomber to finish it off (maybe a fighter will do)

Re: 2 Extra Range Artillery Opinions Wanted
I like one towed artillery with long range to suppress aa followed by stuka attack to cripple or kill the aa. This opens the door for bringing in the rest of your luftflotte without fear of aa fire. Can also be used for counterbattery for to suppress enemy artillery as you are advancing.

There are 3 Ju 52 transports at your disposal.

Re: [Mod] Amulet Mod - Units/Graphics/Sound Mod
Very nice mod. I think will result in a more realistic combined corp. Significant enhancement to the overall abilities of a balanced corp. To use with existing Panzer Corp and DLC's will require the player to increase difficulty to maintain balance. Is there a text file to document all changes, new ...

Question about units with 500+ experience
Once a unit has reached the 500 pt experience level that receives the appropriate bonuses and ability to over strength to 15, is there any advantage to continue accumulating experience to the 599 cap? If not the only nuance I can see is that if the unit is at a strength level of 9 I can reinforce wi...

Re: Artillery Heros
I like one long range artillery with +1 range for softening up AA prior to air attack. Some cities with a well designed hedgehog of entrenched defenders, backed by artillery, and in turn covered by AA can be a tough nut until the AA has been weakened/destroyed.

Re: German WWII war strategy: coulda, shoulda, woulda
Too many highly engineered/low reliability tank/tank destroyer types with no systematic vehicle recovery/repair strategy Once decision to invade Russia, shoulda stayed the course on Moscow or Stalingrad, not both If Moscow or Stalingrad could have been taken, then next target should have been manufa...

Cool idea. I really like this added functionality. I've been looking for a wargame to play North Atlantic convoy operations. Maybe this is the ticket.

Re: HISTORY Legends of War available soon.
Too bad about no follow though with original developer. It is a low demand wargame for dad (me) and my 8 yr old son is learning a lot about history and critical thinking. Looks like the game was set up to be expanded upon. The PS3 platform was a great idea to include the population not traditionally...

Re: Steam reviews

Re: Soviet Corps release date?
Any educated person would know that there would be no celebration on the Soviet/Russian side on June 22. Very much like our "Day of Infamy" in the US on December 7. I'm sure our Russian tovarishi (comrades) would say the most appropriate date to release Soviet Corp is on May 9, Victory Day...
