Re: BUG REPORT. Vassals.
Can you trade it to them? Yes, and I did, but the point is it should not be happening, This post is me reporting what appear to be bugs with vassals in a MP game, as the in game bug report tool does not appear to work in MP. The text is likely misleading, if your relation is high enough it doesn't ...

Re: BUG REPORT. Vassals.
A further issue with vassals I am having in the same game. Is this intentional? I can't see why it should be. In the screenshot you can see that under claims, Tuscany is listed as allied, when it is in fact a vassal, as you can see from the tooltip on Volterra (bottom right corner of the screenshot)...

Re: BUG REPORT. Vassals.
As another example of something not working quite right, my vassal Corsica owned the Province of Tunis. The Banu Hilal invaded and conquered Mahdia in the south east corner, so it was owned by Corsica, occupied by Banu Hilal. I then invaded and took it back. But instead of it reverting to my vassal ...

Re: BUG REPORT. Vassals.
The MP game is called "This way instead chaps". I've asked the other players about how my vassals display for them, they tell me that all four of my vassals, Verona, Genoa, Tuscany and Corsica do display as my vassals to them. The Verona Genoa situation seems to have resolved currently, as...

BUG REPORT. Vassals.
I'm playing a multiplayer game, which as far as I can tell does not work with the in game bug report tool. I'm playing Venice, and I have made vassals of Verona, Tuscany and Genoa among others. My problem is that other nations do not respect the vassal system. The Papal States and the Fatimids have ...

Absorbing vassals
I recall this being raised as an issue around launch, and talk that it would be tweaked. I haven't played a huge amount since, so I'm not aware if it has been raised again. I am turn 141 into a game as Apulia an Calabria (Now Kingdom of Sicily), I have two vassals, Pisa (opinion 99) and Firenze (opi...

The Pope, Piety and Excommunication.
Has something changed recently in terms of how Papal relations, Piety and Excommunication is handled on the back end or in mechanics? I ask, because I am currently playing a 3 player MP game where the three players are: France, Castilla and Poland. Three countries that I have never had to struggle w...

Inappropriate Aqueducts.
As I'm sure you are aware, the Romans never conquered Ireland or Scotland, let alone built aqueducts there. Which raises the question of how I can restore a Roman aqueduct in Ireland or Scotland. Do I buy the Pont du Gard on the cheap and wedge it into some Irish valley? I kinda feel like Henry Ford...

Royal Marriages, heirs, and what happens if there isn't one?
Is the Royal Marriage Regional Decision the only way to get your heirs married? I am in the fairly precarious position (for medieval times anyway), of my rulers only heirs being female, and the queen being beyond childbearing age (she's 49). So the game reports I have no valid heir, and 0% chance of...

War score confusion - Possible Bug.
I'm a little confused about war support and wondering if it is working correctly. I'm playing as England and launched a crusade at Jerusalem with the regional decision, backed up by other regional decisions sending units in support. This naturally put me at war with the Fatimid Caliphate. They sent ...

Re: Any guides or advice on escaping starting decadence trap as Seleucids?
Perhaps I should have clarified, I did not do the different things I mentioned all in the same game. I've tried several different games with different approaches, always at "difficult" difficulty. I have tried exactly what you suggest regarding focussing on culture. Very undeveloped region...

Any guides or advice on escaping starting decadence trap as Seleucids?
First a rant, to get off my chest. I hate calling it decadence, can it be named something more accurate in Kingdoms? It doesn't function like decadence, and it doesn't punish decadence, in fact you can end up pretty decadent trying to fight it, with most of your population lazing around producing cu...

Re: New confusion with army retreat mechanics.
Yeah, I'm familiar with that mechanic, but in these situations I outnumbered the enemy, which is what led to my confusion. I'm tying to see if there is a mechanic I'm missing, or should I be submitting a bug report. If I did submit a bug report, I'm not expecting much would be done at this stage in ...

Re: New confusion with army retreat mechanics.
Thanks for clarifying the Silver Shield point. I should pay more attention to my enemies abilities. The game listed them as victories for me, I got the pursue phase and inflicted additional casualties there. Had another weird issue with another MP game. Playing as Carthage, Mauretania invaded and oc...

Logging into FoG:E multiplayer, game reports "Login isn't activated"
Hello, I'm playing a multiplayer game in FoG:E and it has been working fine apart from the occasional hiccup when your servers go down. Today I logged on and it initially worked fine, I completed a turn and it said it had successfully uploaded that turn to the server. I then immediately went to play...

New confusion with army retreat mechanics.
I thought I understood the mechanics around when and why an army will retreat and where they will go. But a recent experience suggests I don't. So if someone could clarify this for me, I'd be grateful. I, Macedonia am at war with the Antigonids and their client, the Getae, both AI controlled. The sc...

Controlling client states.
Playing a MP game and I (Syracuse) am allied with my friend (Sparta). Thracia is a client state of Sparta, my ally, and it regularly raids my territory. I can't engage in diplomacy with them as they are a client state, and my friend playing Sparta tells me he has no options to control who they raid....

General/Admiral dying in combat.
I was under the impression that the mechanics for when and how a general or admiral on the winning side could get killed in combat went something like this. Winning General/Admiral can only be killed in a large battle, but even in this case the odds of it happening are much lower than the odds of th...
